1. OUR RETURN POLICY
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in new, unused condition with original tags attached. Some exceptions apply (see section 5).
Pro Tip: For fastest service, include your original packing slip with your return.
2. HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE
Follow these steps to initiate your return or exchange:
- Submit your request by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Return/Exchange Request” and include:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- Whether you want a refund or exchange
- Wait for approval – Our team will respond within 48 hours with return instructions
- Package your items securely in the original packaging if possible
- Ship your return to our warehouse at: Volcom Returns

4. REFUND TIMING & METHODS
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing time: 3-5 business days
- Refund method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Timing:
- Credit cards: 5-10 business days after processing
- PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing
Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Beanies & Headwear: Due to direct contact with hair/skin
- Gloves & Neck Warmers: For hygiene reasons
- Swimwear (Boardshorts & Rash Vests): Unless tags are attached and hygienic liner is intact
- Final Sale Items: Clearly marked as non-returnable
6. EXCHANGES
Prefer an exchange? Here’s what you need to know:
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
- We’ll cover return shipping for defective/wrong items
- For size exchanges, include a note with your preferred size
- Price differences will be charged/refunded as needed
7. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
For customers outside the US:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
- Allow extra time for international shipping processing
